Hi everyone,
It is a pleasure to introduce to you this fine work of fiction, ATO THE GIANT SLAYER (ATGS), which is the first in a series of publications for children and young adults. Although intended for readers between the ages of 9 and 15, it has received flattering reviews from a more mature readership that includes parents and teachers.

You will find on this blog a brief description of the story in addition to some information on major characters, fantastic competitions and the soon to be established, Giant Slayers Club. You will also have an insight into the purpose of the ATGS Series.

ATGS: Purpose of the Series

1. To present high quality literature to young adult, harnessing elements of fantasy, humour and adventure, with a touch of reality to create a gratifyingly suspenseful page-turner.

2. To primarily address environmental, social and human rights issues among others, embodying the elements mention in (1) above to garner a positive interest in such issues from readers in an entertaining manner.

3. To engage readers in wholesome literary entertainment that celebrates high moral values.

4. To build a bond with both parents and teachers so they can recommend books in this series to their children and students respectively, knowing full well they will be promoting fine moral ideals.
